The official badge of Alpha Omicron Pi is an monogram of gold showing the symbol of Alpha superimposed upon the symbol of
Omicron and Pi.
Our jewel is the ruby, located at the apex of the A. The badge may be worn as a pin, upon a bracelet or mounted as a ring.
Alpha Omicron Pi's flower is the red Jacqueminot rose. Where other NPC groups use a crest, AOII proudly displays the rose
symbol.
Our color is Cardinal, the color of the heart. It is the deepest and purest shade of red.
AOII is the only women's fraternity that does not use a crest. Our founders felt that the beauty and simplicity of our
badge possessed enough significance to stand alone. They felt that crests were medieval, and as we are founded on Greek ideals,
therefore they thought a crest would be inappropriate. Where other groups might use a crest, we display the rose.

Philanthropy is an important part of AOII. Alpha Omicron Pi's international philanthropy is Arthritis Research. All AOII
chapters worldwide help raise funds to help eliminate arthritis.
Our New Member badge is a gold sheaf of wheat. It symbolizes individual members bound together by the common bond of sisterhood,
AOII.
Our unofficial mascot is the Panda - the only animal which has no natural enemies.
