Delta Psi chapter first started out as a local sorority at SUNY-Albany. They decided they wanted to pursue membership
with an NPC group, and after meeting with representatives of several groups, AOII came out the clear choice. Delta Psi became
AOII's 161st chapter of AOII on April 29th, 1989, installed by Peg Crawford, Past International President.
AOII has a strong tradition in New York, chartering 9 collegiate chapters and 6 alumnae chapters. Many alumnae have gone
on to support the Fraternity as advisers, International volunteers, and Chapter Consultants. Delta Psi is proud to be part
of this tradition of leadership.
